May the 4th Be With You!

Seriously, this is one of my favorite silly days of the year. I don’t know who came up with this, but thank you!
My love for Star Wars is well documented but here’s a refresher course (simply because I like looking at these pics ha)

Used to take Little A to Disneyland every May the 4th

The day Disneyland re-posted my picture to their Instagram and I almost died right there on the spot!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day at Disneyland – One of the craziest things I’ve ever done!

So, back to the easiest May the 4th craft ever! Perfect for all you last minute parents stuck inside for the last 6 weeks because you probably have everything you need in your house right now!

Toilet Paper Rolls – don’t act like you don’t have 800 of these on hand!
2 pieces colored construction paper
Tape
Scissors

Cut out the Lightsabre hilt and tape to the toilet paper roll. Roll it all the way around and tape the other edge. This is your hilt.

Take the 2 pieces of construction paper and tape together lengthwise (short end to short end)

Roll the construction paper and insert one end into the toilet paper tube, making sure it expands just enough to fill the tube.

Tape all the way up the construction paper to hold the lightsabre together. I also taped the construction paper inside the toilet paper roll at the bottom just to make sure it didn’t come out during an epic battle fighting the Dark Side.

That’s It! So Easy! AND, if you really think the Force is on your side, you can do what Little A did during our power outage yesterday and put a flashlight in the toilet paper tube so the whole thing lights up!!

May the Force Be with You!
